Time for some more reviews!
Today I'd like to review 2 Pre-Workouts which I have tried over the past few days.
The first one I'll start with is Applied Nutraceuticals Black Cats.

Black Cats is a simple pre-workout mainly meant for more energy and focus in the gym. Blacks Cats is not meant for those looking for extra pumps or getting doses of Arginine, Creatine or Beta-Alanine.
So my dosage for trial was 2 capsules about 30 minutes prior to my workout. I wasn't quite sure what to expect as I have used there Lit-Up product before and really enjoyed it's effects on my workout.
So after I arrived at the gym and had a few warm-up sets under my belt I could feel a nice trickle of energy kicking in. It wasn't anything major but was nice and smooth. I also started to notice that I became more dialed in and focused.
My workout ended up being very good and I left the gym feeling like I got the most out of it. A few hours later I certainly noticed that there was no crash. I also had no issues falling asleep.
So if your looking for a simple energy booster just to wake you up in the morning or something to help you get through a workout this product certainly is beneficial. No crash, no jitters but nice clean energy with a nice focus bonus!
This gets a 9/10 from me. Simple but effective! Also the price is VERY reasonable, only $16.99 for 60 Capsules at www.bestpricenutrition.com

Next up let's review All-Max Nutrition Razor8
http://www.bestpricenutrition.com/allmax-nutrition-razor-8-blast-powder.html
Razor8 has been created for those looking for Energy, Focus, Pump and to really demolish the weights in the gym. They claim it to be one of the most potent pre-workouts available.
One thing to make note with Razor8 is that it is very stimulant heavy if you take the 1 serving. Caffeine content would be around 350-400mg which for most people would have you jumping off the walls and extremely jittery. For this specific reason I only took a 1/2 scoops serving for my trial of this product. This still provides plenty of caffeine and stimulants to power through your workout.
First off though I'd like to talk about the taste. The flavor I tried was Triple Berry.
The first thing I noticed with the flavor was that it is was not very strong so using only a small amount of water is optimal. The berry flavor was very obvious but tasted a little "off" to me. Certainly drinkable but then again not something I'd actually look forward to chugging down like some other pre-workouts I've tried.
Now on to the effects. Since I only took a 1/2 dose I was expecting a nice dose of energy without being overstimulated and that's exactly what I got. I took this about 30 minutes prior to my workout.
As always I usually start to feel the energy and effects of pre-workouts as i start doing my warm ups in the gym. Razor8 followed in those footsteps and started to provide a nice steady stream of energy. As I was working out my legs that day I certainly needed that extra boost as it's usually my most challenging day. Throughout the workout i also noticed that my focus was more "on' that usual. I was also sweating up a storm which is usually a sign of heightened metabolism and energy. Razor8 does claim to also help as a fat burner and I certainly agree that it can help in this area. When it comes to pump however I didn't really notice much. Arginine is the main ingredient when it comes to pumps and after lots of recent research it has shown to be non effective when taken orally.
Another thing I want to mention about Razor8 which I like is that it provides the 5 grams of Creatine which you should be taking daily. Even if you only take the half dose you'll still get 2.5 grams. I always enjoy when a product actually puts a quality amount of an ingredient in instead of just pixie dusting.
So overall Razor8 is a solid pre-workout which will provide a clean energy( at 1/2 dose) and also increase your focus in the gym. If your looking for the pump aspect however you may be disappointed.
Taste for me gets a rating of 6/10.
Effectiveness I'll give it an 8/10. A higher rating would be given if the pump aspect was there as is claimed by the company.
Well thank you all for checking out today's reviews! More will be coming in the next few days!
