New Chapter Organics perfect CALM Multi

On tap today for review is another Multi-Vitamin.

Thanks to Best Price Nutrition, I received a trial bottle for review.

New Chapter has steadily become more popular in the health & nutrition field. They are consistently coming out with new innovative supplements for those looking to improve their health.

perfect CALM is a Whole Foods Multi-Vitamin. They key with this is that it does not need to be taken with food. Most common Multi-Vitamins nowadays are synthetic and are hard for our bodies to absorb so they must be taken with a meal. Other issues with synthetic Multi's are that they can leave you with an upset stomach if not taken with a meal.

perfect CALM is a unique Multi-Vitamin in that it majorly focuses to address daily stress, enhance calm and overall well-being. It features herbs such as Holy Basil, Turmeric, Chamomile. perfect CALM also has active bacteria which will help in digestive health and digestion.

While usually Multi-Vitamins are not a "FEEL" type supplement I must say I personally did notice this product doing what it was meant to do. I personally felt more at peace and calm throughout the day. My thoughts were clearer and more focused. I also felt less stressed from work and other things that were going on.

I must say I have been impressed with all New Chapter products I've used in the past and I really feel the quality and efficiency of their products is great!

So if your in the market for a new Multi-Vitamin and could use some extra stress relief certainly give this product some serious thought!

Applied Nutraceuticals Peach Tea Lit-Up Review

Hey everyone!

I'm back again with another review for ya after a small layoff.

Today I'm going to be reviewing another Pre-workout supplement. On tap is Peach Tea Lit-Up from Applied Nutraceuticals. Here's the link to it: http://www.bestpricenutrition.com/applied-nutriceuticals-lit-up-peach-tea.html

Peach Tea Lit-Up is the follow up product to their Cherry Lit-Up flavor. The profile is exactly the same just a different flavor. I have used the Cherry flavor in the past and it was delicious so I expected much of the same from this new release.

Lit-Up is marketed in the following manner. "Lit UP is a completely unique ultra-concentrated pre-workout powder that delivers the ideal amount of energy, focus and pump without the strung out feeling and loss of appetite that result from some competitor's products."

So let's begin with my review...

Lit-Up is a product which provides 40 Servings per container. Each servings will give you roughly 170mg of Caffeine and 1.5Grams of D-Aspartic acid. For myself I find the sweet spot to be about 1.5 Scoops for energy/focus. Another ingrediwent is Beta-Alanine which i believe is at about 1gram.

If your not familiar with D-Aspartic Acid it is relatively new. The main benefit of D-Aspartic Acid is that it increases testosterone by an average of 42% in 12 days. This information has come from recent scientific studies. The dosage taken in these studies was 3 grams daily. So if you really want to utilize the benefits of DAA then you'd need to either take 2 scoops of Lit-Up daily or add some bulk DAA separately.

In regards to Beta-Alanine it is now up there with Creatine in importance to training. Beta-Alanine should also be taken at around 3-4 grams daily so the amount in this product will not fulfill your daily requirement to receive it's full benefits. I take 2 grams in bulk twice daily and have certainly noticed an increase in strength & endurance.

I took this product roughly 30 minutes before my workout. I shook it up in my shaker and sipped on the way to the gym.

Taste: Well let's just say the taste is very good! What I liked most about the flavor is that it is different. Almost all pre-workout supplements nowadays are fruit punch or some variable of it. They all taste similar but this one is completely different. It almost tastes like iced tea which you'd sip on a hot summers day. The flavor is very strong so make sure to mix with plenty of water or it might be abit too sweet. I will give this a 9.5/10

Effects: Lit-Up provided me with a very clean energy in the gym. There were absolutely no jitters. I also noticed a very intense focus as I was training. I was also not distracted by my surroundings and was dialed into my training and crushing the weights. In regards to strength I can't say it helped much there or in regards to a pump. I am currently in a caloric deficit with low carbs in my diet so this may be the most likely culprit for lack of those things. So here I will give an 8/10

Overall: Lit-Up personally is one of my favorite pre-workouts. It delivers exactly the right amount of energy & focus in the gym that I need. The taste is also make it very enjoyable to sip on and usually leaves me wanting more once I'm finished. So I'm going to give the product an 8.5/10 rating. If the dosages of DAA & Beta-Alanine were a little higher then my rating would most likely be a 9/10

Lit-Up is also one of the most reasonable priced pre-workout supplements on the market. If your interested in purchasing this product check it out here: http://www.bestpricenutrition.com/applied-nutriceuticals-lit-up-peach-tea.html
